Do You “Love” Tennis?

As completely furnished and outfitted as your Marco Escapes rental property is, it may not include a tennis court. The City of Marco Island, however, has a place for you – The Island Racquet Center.

There are six Har-Tru tennis courts and two hard surface courts, a total of eight courts, all lighted. There also are two outdoor racquetball courts, a practice wall, pickleball courts and an outdoor observation terrace.

It’s all open to the public, with very  reasonable court rental rates for non-members. Membership applications are available online , including a special summer member ship through September 30 at a discount rate.

There also is a pro shop for racquet stringing, and a pro, Wayne Clark, offering group and individual lessons.
