Another Ambulance for The Season

Marco Island is pretty close to Paradise, to be sure. But even in a place this idyllic, bad things can happen: an accident, a fall, a moment of inattention. That’s when the call goes out for EMS (aka ambulance service).

The good news is that the City of Marco Island has announced today (1/31/2014) that Collier County has added another ambulance for the season. It will be housed at the Marco Island Fire Rescue Station #5 on San Marco Road through the end of April. It will be operational from 9:00 to 9:00 each day.

So, while we wish you the most relaxing, carefree, safe and excellent vacation during your stay in a Marco Escapes vacation rental property, we are pleased to let you know that a call to 911 in the event of a health or fire emergency will be answered that much faster because of this new ambulance.
