While we have not seen this particular production of Les Miserables, we have seen others and been moved by the story, the music and the stagecraft. So we are comfortable in suggesting that The Naples Players’ staging of this masterpiece of musical theater is worth a look. It runs from June 28 through July 28 in Blackburn Hall at Naples’ Sugden Community Theater.
From the rollicking “Master of the House” to the poignant “Bring Him Home”, the music will have you in its grasp. It will be interesting to see how a small theatrical group, presenting in Blackburn Hall, contends with special effects that have challenged even more expansive companies and stages.
Tickets start at $35.00, a quit reasonable price for an evening of captivating live entertainment. For more information or to order tickets, call The Naples Players at 263-7990 or go to the on-line box office.
The latter option will let you select seats by showing a typical stage view from the seat you are considering.
