May Events on Marco Island: Marco Island Police Foundation Annual Rib Cook Off

Join the Marco Island Police force on Saturday, May 12, 2018 for the 6th annual Marco Island Police Foundation from noon until 6 PM.

Held at Marco Island Brewery (1089 N. Collier Boulevard, Marco Island) there will be plenty of family fun, a 50/50 raffle, prizes, live music and of course, the best ribs in Southwest Florida.

Join several local chefs as they put their secret recipes to the test in the hopes of snagging first place! From hickory smoked to honey glazed and beyond, the judges will announce the winner at 5PM.

Tickets are $25 each and include a full, served meal. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Marco Police Foundation Scholarship Fund. Each ticket includes a “Texas style” BBQ plate, with half a rack of ribs, half a BBQ chicken, baked beans and corn on the cob.

Attendees will also be provided access to beer brewed right here on Marco Island. As Marco Island and Naples’ only microbrewery, enjoy a taste of Marco Island with three in-house and the largest bottle selection on Marco Island.

The Marco Police Foundation has proudly served the Marco Island Police Department (MIPD) officers and the community since 2001 by organizing the Neighborhood Watch program and assisting crowd and traffic control during major island events. The Marco Police Foundation is a 501(c)3 corporation that assists officers and employees of the MIPD in emergency financial situations and maintains a scholarship fund for officers and their children.
